Individual Therapy
“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – Carl Jung
Therapy can be beneficial for those new to their mental health journey, or those continuing on a path that is already in motion. In Individual therapy I see clients ages 12+, to support them on their therapeutic goals. I view the therapeutic relationship as the framework and foundation in which clients feel safe to explore the deepest parts of themselves. I support clients in individual sessions to reflect on their life circumstances, both past and present, and create goals around their future and how to achieve them in a collaborative, compassionate way. I view my clients as the experts on their lives, I am merely a supporting figure to guide, reflect, and enhance the strengths already present. I help my clients navigate a variety of challenges and goals in individual therapy and utilize traditional talk therapy as well as evidence based practices from CBT, DBT, ACT, Expressive Arts Therapy and more.

Couples Therapy
“Speaking with kindness creates confidence, thinking with kindness creates profoundness, giving with kindness creates love.” -Lao Tseu
Are you and your partner struggling to communicate and truly hear one another? Are you feeling a lack of trust or emotional safety? Are you experiencing the same arguments over and over again? Are one or both of your needs not being met? Are you wanting to find peace with a recent challenging life transition? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, seeking extra support could help. In couples therapy I work with couples to normalize their frustrations, identify communication styles, provide resources and tools to practice healthier, more effective communication both inside and outside of sessions, and model conflict resolution to ease many of the relationship struggles faced. There is no shame in seeking some assistance to better connect with yourself and your partner, and I look forward to providing a safe place to continue your growth as a couple.

Expressive Arts Therapy
“To use the arts expressively means going into our inner realms to discover feelings and to express them through visual art, movement, sound, writing or drama. This process fosters release, self-understanding, insight and awakens creativity and transpersonal states of consciousness.” -Natalie Rogers
As a licensed mental health counselor with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy, and an artist myself, I have always seen the value that the arts and creativity play in the therapeutic space. As such, I utilize a variety of modalities in my sessions with clients such as drawing, painting, writing, poetry, movement, drama, music and more to find additional platforms and languages to express their inner most thoughts and feelings, where sometimes just words don’t suffice. The beauty of the Expressive Arts is that it is far more about the process than the product. No previous artistic experience required!
